Charlotte Bonneville
Associate Manager
Charlotte Bonneville is an Associate Project
Manager at Heschong Mahone Group. As an engineer, her work includes
building energy science research and building and appliance energy
efficiency code and standard development.
Ms Bonneville currently works on several projects
in the area of hot water heating research and codes and standards (C&S)
development. She uses her modeling and analysis skills to develop an
energy model of domestic hot water systems to provide solid numerical
foundation for future code enhancements.. She supports field data
monitoring. She is involved in Title 24 CASE works in the field of
office plug loads and HVAC zoning. Her work is aimed to provide code
change suggestions thanks to thorough analysis of energy, cost and
feasibility of proposed measures.
After her studies
at the Ecole Polytechnique, Ms. Bonneville interned at ARUP, a global
firm of consulting engineers, designers and planners, working with its
Foresight, Innovation and Incubation Department in London, UK. While at
ARUP, she worked on an economic and environmental model assessing the
impact of diverse policies on natural resources depletion and growth of
the UK. She improved the model, simulated different scenarios and
contributed to design media to help broaden the diffusion and
understanding of the model.
Ms Bonneville is a LEED AP. Ms
Bonneville holds an engineer diploma (equivalent to MS in Mechanical
Engineering) from the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France), one of the
most renowned French engineering schools. She also received a MS in
Sustainable Design and Construction from the department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering of Stanford University in June 2009.
